Bible calendars
Bible Society Children's calendars are making a big hit in schools. At Inaburra, a Christian school in Sydney's Sutherland Shire, every child in the junior school is given one to take home. Each year the calendar is packed with a range of activities, puzzles, stories and questions to help them interact with the Bible. At Inaburra, they take each month's Bible story in the calendar and Scripture verse and act it out in assembly.
The kids have a great time working out the costumes and actions with their teachers.

According to Annette Clarke, Inaburra's Head of Junior School – "I know from the parents that many of our students put the calendars on their notice boards or fridge doors at home. Because of our open enrolment policy, not all our students attend Sunday School. I have had some amazing comments from non-Christian parents about how keen their children are to learn each month's verse. My prayer is that in 10 or 20 years time the verses they learn and the stories they act out will stay with them and remind them of God's love."

The calendars are available from Bible Society each September and 10,000 are distributed free of charge to schools and scripture teachers.
