Rwanda Reconciliation Project

Daniel Willis, Bible Society CEO, who has recently returned from Rwanda, talks about his visit ....

"What an eye-opening experience my trip turned out to be. An uplifting one, too, because what I saw confirmed beyond all doubt that Hands for Hope is working.

Thanks to you, Bible Society in partnership with African Enterprise has helped 110,000 Rwandan school children learn how to read in just 12 weeks. More importantly, we are healing their wounds; teaching them about reconciliation and spreading the message of hope through God’s word in this troubled land.

But this inspirational success is only the beginning. Now we want to spread the Word and reach another 2,200,000 children.

Click on the links above to read how Rwanda’s leaders, teachers and children have raised their Hands for Hope. You’ll understand why we must once again appeal to the generosity of our supporters. The program is highly cost effective;
  • a mere $6 will provide the Scripture based resources needed to change a child’s life forever
  • for only $300 you can help an entire class
Your tax deductible gift will help maintain the momentum of this critically important program.

More importantly, it has the power to bring hope to children who have had so little to look forward to. Donate today, and we will send a FREE Hands for Hope wristband as an expression of our gratitude.

I urge you to raise your hands for hope. Please click on the link below and give generously to this critically important program."
